Oftentimes it takes contemplating how Black folks lives have been defined for us throughout all times by people who were not Black. This truth cannot be denied no more than I can change the color of my skin nor allow myself to be categorized and lessened. Therefore, I must take this journey of discovery as all my valiant and resilient ancestors have sojourned in a world where false judgments were presented as the standard of righteousness. Righteousness added to humility with the grace of God may be the answer.

Yes I want Black people to understand that our alliances were formed long ago. Before we settled on the petty idol god monuments of gold, silver, and diamonds to adorn our skins and determine our worth.
Did you know that ‘Fagunwa’ wrote folktales? Oh, sorry. I’ll use terms modern homo sapiens readily understand. Fagunwa wrote rich ‘stories’. Stories that cracked open a world where gods, witchcraft and monsters could transform their images into grand creations that drew children, the easier of the skeptics, and adults into believing such a realm of beings existed. You got it huh? Sounds like the fantastical ‘marvels’ performing on huge screens of light and sound before our eyes.
The Islam poetry writer ‘Fodio’ wrote his poetry in Islam and Hausa. Religious poetry exhorting the mystical writings of the Islamic Sufi brotherhoods. Or the importance of writing political and praise poetry of the Prophet Muhammad. Yeah. Blind beggars used to recite the poetry of Islam out loud in the marketplace. I know. That freedom of expression is being knocked down by our very own 6 Overlord Republican Supreme Court Jesters. I mean Justices.
Black Americans of African descent, I know our struggle for acknowledgement as human beings has been akin to being pressurized under centuries of granite and marble. We cannot allow our culture to be dismissed, nor can we let other cultures be dismissed, disregarded and demonized in America.
For God’s sake Arabic mathematicians created Algebra around circa 830! Here now. Many of you probably wouldn’t believe Islam has a rich history of poetry. See. That’s what I’m talking about. Senator El-Sayed of Michigan shouldn’t back down to that Republican fool in Michigan taking the credit for killing Osama Bin Laden for a nanosecond. If Republican Mike Rodgers says it again I’d slam his ass with it by asking him what was his rank in the Navy Seals? How did you locate Osama Bin Laden? Republican Mike Rodgers, were you solely responsible for crafting the plan and executing the mission? When Republican clowns put on a show, you’ve got to tell the people Republicans think you’re there to watch a circus and you’re not!
For some reason I’ve always known that the ‘Legacy Media’ in America would never tell me the whole story. I just knew they wouldn’t. The Legacy Media of ABC, NBC, CBS, THE WALL STREET JOURNAL, THE WASHINGTON POST and all the television stations and news magazines have always present White people as the sole producers of great literature in the world. Now I know better because ‘the better’ is in writing!
Look. Don’t get me wrong. Everybody copies something off somebody right? That’s not what I’m perplexed about. I’m vexed by the ferocious ‘system’ to keep where White people got their ideas secret. It’s okay. You can tell on yourself. The catalyst for your creations came from Black people, Islamic Brown people, people of Spaniard Ancestry and indigenous Americans.
