The STRIPES of Healing

Founding Statement:

This biweekly newsletter will seek to explain the pain and suffering mainly people of color endure through no fault of their own.  The dehumanizing excuses our people always seem to elicit from people in power that make our Christian Brothers and Sisters accept their reasoning as if it was uttered by the Almighty.  Lastly what I see with my own eyes begs the question from my conscience.  “Are we loving or can we really love our neighbor as ourselves”.

Issue 30:  Indeed:  What is Taught?

When I meet somebody new whether it is in person or it is assessing a politician appearing on my television screen; I’m about giving that person a fair handshake to symbolize my aversion to snap judgments.  Usually snap judgments are wrong and I’ll tell you why I believe that.  Judging someone based on their membership in an organization is childish.  From the Authorized King James version of the Holy Bible…Proverbs 4:23…Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

It is not the human beings some calling them ‘migrants’ which those evil folks among us use the second definition of the word.  Yeah, the second definition calls them ‘animals’.  It is not a female politician who was a governor of the State of South Carolina conveniently forgetting slavery was the horror they wanted to preserve forever.  It is not an orange haired man that good people wouldn’t invite to their home in fear he would hit on their wives.  It is the blatantly clear choice of Republican officials and Republican voters to choose the rewards of evil over good meant for all life on this planet.

Discovering what my ancestors endured under the sadistic administration of slavery gives me more gratitude for their suffering so that I could have a life cannot be put into my words.  Witnessing a woman of color, that former governor of South Carolina, told me her and her family bought into the ‘Faustian Bargain’ to sell their soul to an evil organization known as the Republican Party in America.

The countless murders of Black slaves with the rape after rape of Black girls and women was irrelevant to Nikki Haley when she of clear mind chose to erase the legacy of slavery from Republican minds.  That is what she did.  Was it sad to see her do that?  Yes.  I mean this is a woman and a woman of color.  See, this is why voters, citizens of America are rejecting Republicans.  Not because Black people have told them for decades they harbor only disdain for the lives of anyone not wealthy enough to contribute to their campaigns.  Republicans have for decades sought new ways to enslave people.

May I offer examples?  Thank you.  Wages.  The Federal minimum wage has been $7.25 since July 24^th of 2009.  I’ve already wrote on my website about the oppression that comes when wages are kept low.  Show some responsibility and keep up with me.  Abortion rights are restricted to politicians having the ultimate authority on who uses this vital health care option.  Guns in America have been returned to frontier rules.  Disagreements and their willingness to be used to kill indiscriminately are meant to restrict the free movement and life choices of those of us who don’t wish to live by the ‘sword’.

Republicans are against every American having healthcare.  Who does that?  Who restricts a human being from being able to be healthy in order to care for themselves and their family?  Who!?

So, when a person hesitates on American History that is clear as day, clear as right and wrong, that is not a snap judgment.  That person has told you who they are.  Believe them the first time!  Isn’t that what Maya Angelou told you?

No no no, don’t try to tell me that is politics.  This musical group ‘Kolidescopes’ has this song called ‘Foundations’ moves the soul and has meaning.  Building someone or having someone strive together and then have the generations that are alive because their ancestors fought to stay alive shows resilience.  Slavery cannot be erased!  I cannot be erased! 

Let me say this as clearly as I can.  I don’t care if Satan’s stooges have a nuclear weapon on target for my head I would never ever say slavery was good for Black people!  Slavery will never be diminished for me because I wouldn’t be here if my ancestors were not defiant!

So to all the Republicans and Lost Cause scumbags, White Supremacists Hell bound bottom dwellers, and political idiots that pander to them I have seen your attempted mockery of God.  Know this you smartasses.  I have seen with my own eyes God’s judgment.  None of you will leave this world before God judges you. 

Indeed, being taught the wrong thing still gives a grown ass woman the choice to reject it in adulthood.  Now a Republican’s choice is evident to us all.  Isn’t it?

Give Me That Ole Time What?

Declaration of Humanity 4.0…This founding statement is different.  This one is being written in clarification of an ongoing threat of fear that ‘evil’ seems to offer more rewards than ‘good’ ever will, and more overtly the verbal Christians are flocking more openly to evils’ promise of fortune.  While this trend is alarming I must counter with this fact.  Evil has never gone out of season in America. 

Good is more than a match for evil, but the righteousness of good can only be activated from a straight line.  What is that straight line you ask?  It is the center of every human beings’ known universe.  If it is straight it is a ‘Heartline’.  A heartline from the heart to the soul because when our heart stops our deeds will be called into account.  The ‘JUDGE’ will know what you did and not what you meant to do…

ISSUE 17:  The Record is Doctored

Give me a break.  Doctors are not innocent or conflicted by their conscience if you’re attempting to assign to them they didn’t know this persecution of women was coming.  I’ll place a bet I know I would win if I had to guess who they primarily vote for at the ballot box.  So, you can’t be afraid to conduct health care now that Republicans are criminalizing medicine as it pertains to women’s healthcare.

That’s just like I’m going to ask a formula one race car driver to teach me how to drive a tractor trailer.  Or, I’m going to ask a mathematician to teach English Literature.  Doctors, you allowed Republicans to creep further and further towards you knowing they were ingratiating themselves into women’s medicine.  Doctors, you were wrong!

Do no harm?  That’s laughable!  It would invoke increasing jocularity if it weren’t for the fact that women are the target of Republican disdain for disobeying their authority.  The very tenet that governs doctors was burned to the ground while you watched it happen.  Scared of going to jail for conducting your training for more than a decade to become doctors?  I don’t feel sorry for any of you.

Doctors, you’ve now put women in the category of property.  Property that Republicans have created an entire construct around to inflict whatever rules they see fit in order to restrict their choices.

The police going into a woman’s house to destroy plumbing to recover miscarried fetal matter.  Really?  That’s what you’ve helped to bring into being doctors.  Now you’re being brought into the evil world of White Supremacy that Black folks have being fighting for centuries.  An evil that has more heads than a mythological hydra. 

Healthcare is now on par with the fight for civil rights.  Thank you doctors for inflicting this battle upon women.  Yes, apathy towards something you thought would never rise to the level of criminality for women has shown you all you were hilariously wrong.

I guess 10+ years of education blinded you all to that possible reality.

Ground Water Sky

Founding Statement:  There comes a precious moment in time that all life drops the ignorance of superiority.  When the ground realizes it needs the water to survive.  The tree realizes it needs the ground to hold it in place.  The air realizes it needs the tree to replenish the oxygen it desperately needs to create the weather patterns that climatizes the Earth.  Responsibilities are intertwined because a living planet depends on every element to function according to its purpose.

Mammals pretend that they’re more sophisticated than any living breathing planet, and thus conclude that liberties can be taken with all three essential elements.  The ignorance of mammals I’m afraid is a contradiction of their celebrated intelligence.  Intelligence that informs mammals they aren’t required to be simple creatures that fulfill their purpose, but creatures that can take actions harmful to the elements that are dedicated to their stated purpose.  Mammals believe such devotion constrains their freedom to live as they please.

This revelation and the antagonistic approach mammals have decided upon against the elements will be simplified in this digital periodical.  All the talk of unity will be broken down into useful parts that will be easy to understand and implement.  Know this my fellow mammals, all forms of life owe it to each other to care for one another.  It’s just that mammals have enjoyed the echo chamber of approval from other mammals because the elements never raised their voice.  We now know for certain the elements do have a voice, and they have registered their collective disapproval of the selfish nature of mammals…

Issue 13:  ‘Don’t Insult My Intelligence Kirk’

One of my most favorite lines from Star Trek II The Wrath of Khan.  What must be unbelievable is suddenly demanded to be believed.  The dictionary says that the meaning of a ‘white flag’ whether it is a cloth or a flag is used as a symbol of surrender.  What part of telling us that an Israeli sniper accidentally shot these human beings we suppose to believe?

Wait, let me back up.  Does the Israeli Defense Forces have a conduct code or something similar to the American military Uniform Code of Military Justice?  If they do, then tell me why an order was given to kill these men surrendering?  If the report I’ve read is accurate, why did the Israel sniper kill 2 of these men?  Why did an Israeli soldier shoot and kill the last surrendering man?

Don’t insult my intelligence.  For instance, on one of the two deployments to Afghanistan, me and my soldiers manned a position after coming under indirect fire.  My soldiers said they saw individuals moving outside the wire and wanted my permission to fire on them.  I asked my soldiers where they were.  They told me.  I looked and I couldn’t positively identify any of the people.  So, you know what I told my soldiers?  No you cannot!  I can’t PID them and neither can you.

I’m going to say it again Israel.  You’re squandering any empathy, good will, solidarity for what the atrocities you suffered at the hand of HAMAS on October 7^th, 2023 by telling your troops to act with vengeance.  I keep asking anyone and everyone to read my post ‘How to Degrade a Human Being’.  Look it up on my website.  I guess I’ll have to keep saying it until my Black skin turns green.  That’s why God said ‘vengeance is mine, I will repay’.

That’s not an accident those Israeli soldiers killed those human beings those hostages surrendering.  They had to been given orders to shoot to kill any male they see.  Dam the Law of War or any decency and order (I Corinthians 14:40).  HAMAS didn’t follow any rules so why should Israel right? 

Israel’s enemies in the world, Hamas, Hezbollah, or any democratic country supporting Israel isn’t telling Israel to conduct their campaign of war in that manner.  Israel is doing it to themselves!

Oh, and by the way.  If an American soldier had killed surrendering human beings that soldier and whoever gave the order would be court martialed immediately!  Pulled off the battlefield.  Put in chains and hauled off to the nearest location to be imprisoned pending trial period.

I keep saying it.  It matters who your leader are.  Prime Minister Netanyahu is an acolyte of Donald Trump and men like that see currency in flaunting the expectations we have of our leaders to be good and decent human beings.

That’s right.  I love me some Khan, but that’s fantasy and remember he got outsmarted by experience and decency.  Captain Kirk was going to beam above the Reliant and stop the device.  That is how American military leaders and service members should conduct themselves.  ‘With Honor’ is not a slogan.  It is an expectation!

Issue 29:  A Way That is Right to Him

I wonder when it happened in America?  Probably, well not probably, I’m sure it happened long before Black people got that last 2/5’s to become fully whole citizens in America.  I know, being 3/5’s of a human being was convenient to the founders, you know to please all those ‘slave masters’ that wanted things to remain the way they’ve always been right?

Well, I’ve got a news bulletin for the writers, bloggers, sports prognosticators and everybody else with a penchant for putting words to every medium.  Coach Deion Sanders of the Colorado Buffaloes doesn’t have to follow a path, pattern, blueprint or what’s acceptable for a football guru.  Let me tell, no share a little history.  A little history before America wrote her own rules about what history should be taught.  Yeah that also means our suppressed history Black folks.

From the Authorized King James version of the Holy Bible.  Galatians 6:4…But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.  Coach Prime conducts the art of football coaching based on his own terms, knowledge, and philosophy.  Now, everybody that knows me knows that I support any human being doing things their way abiding by certain rules hopefully.  No harm morally, illegally or ethically can come to the people in your charge.  Leaders have a high calling and I don’t absolve anyone of that standard.

I know, some people seem to call anybody a leader these days.  I beg to differ for reasons that are quite clear.  Leader means there is someone following you based on the success you’ve had in your particular interests.  Coach Prime knows he has to carve a path in college football that is overgrown and full of obstacles.  Sure, I know there were already Black coaches in college football long before Prime graced the sidelines.  The difference is, think back now, did you see those coaches being who they truly were?

Stay with me now.  We’re still in the college ranks.  I know the NFL have always had colorful coaches that did it whatever way they saw fit.  Dam what anybody else thought of them.  College is different. 

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say what I believe needs to be said.  All those negative Nicks and proper Priscillas know that at the end of the day college football at its core is entertainment.  They still frown upon coaches being animated on the sidelines.  Well, not to get too much into self-care, but ‘positive expression about the profession eliminates depression’. 

When you enjoy what you’re doing, and this goes for anything not harmful preferably, is essential to your overall well-being.  Excitement in sports is not just for the spectators.  It is critical for players, coaches, alumni and the athletic departments to enjoy!

Let the man alone as far as his flamboyance goes.  Hopefully flamboyance will become the norm sooner rather than later in all sports.  Coach Prime, do what you do.  I’ll be watching.

The Word ‘God’ A ‘Contranym’

Foreword:

It is not enough to call it a revelation.  Learning that what you’ve been taught about something that should be a source of guidance, strength, serenity and hope was distorted.  Distorted by no other reason because to live up to it doesn’t promise enough affection amongst others.  Others that are all too eager to have others join their failures.

Failures of character or belief that living in a way of knowing what is right and what is wrong requires no daily conscience adjustment.  That is why most people avoid the rigorous growth demanded of them to corral their devilish nature.  Instead they actively succumb to the task of assembling what they feel they possess of value and submit to negotiating their own Faustian bargain; although knowing all too well the only valuable thing evil wants is their soul.

While we marvel at the sheer vastness of the numbers of folks actively deciding to be fools; we always exclude ourselves from being caught up so quickly alongside them fools.  My belief, because I’ve lived it, is right and wrong shouldn’t require a daily recalibration based on which option would bring you the most fortune or the least condemnation.

Time I’m afraid never waits for your decision in those moments, so it lets’ you choose through the double-minded lens of distorted reasoning.  When that happens the choice illuminates everything those around you need to know about you.  Observe for yourself is my admonishment.  Choose wisely is the saying right?  Check out Hebrews 13:8 to know what it looks like when you decide who you want to be.

Trickster:  Edition Three:  ‘The Book of Man’ – Love Only Those That Love You

Let’s get right to it.  From the Authorized King James version of the Holy Bible.  Saint Luke 6:32…For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.  My my my, isn’t it obvious to spiritual people that these so-called Christians never read that verse?  I was looking at a clip of U.S. Rep. Jayapal being talked down to by CNN host Dana Bash that Hamas raping Israeli women justifies Israel killing every Palestinian civilian they can.

Dana Bash didn’t say that, but that’s what she was trying to make Rep. Jayapal concede.  Because Hamas murdered and raped scores of Israeli citizens, it is okay to kill Palestinian civilians.  These news media people are responsible for what they say too.  I don’t care what their network bosses want them to say.  Me, Mr. Moseley, I would tell them that there is a difference.  Innocent civilians are not fair game because terrorists of a sworn adversary, who also just happen to be Palestinians, make them also responsible for the atrocities of Hamas.

U.S. Representative Jayapal is a human being that should be lauded as an example of personal truth.  Why do we all, human beings, take 20 steps back, or backslide as the Holy Bible states, when we know to call the truth as it is.  Israel knows they are ‘degrading’ their own nation by just destroying everything in sight in the Gaza Strip. 

‘Only care about people that care about me’, that’s what we say and believe in America isn’t it?  That’s why I call out every so-called Christian I see talking out their double-minded mouth.  That’s not how it’s supposed to be.  It can’t keep happening like this. 

I was going to place my next statement in my retelling of Black History as it has propelled my life to moral clarity.  The human beings that have been critical to my certainty of moral clarity have been 90% Black Women.  White women I would give another 7%.  Men I would assign that last 3%.  Black women have scolded me, purged my sins, indoctrinated my empathy and reasoning, driven my compacity to forgive, and cultivated the love I have for all human beings as I did receive the gift of spirituality from my mother (in defiance of her husband, my father who was a cruel man).

I must say this as a precaution to those trying to read the Holy Bible for the first time.  Do it slowly.  I recommend Saint Luke Chapter 6.  I believe it has everything in it the Holy Father needs you to know.  Wow, even I was overwhelmed reading it again to just write one verse for this post.

Also loyal readers, tell everybody you know that you point true North to www.landcause.com to read one of my favorite posts, ‘How to Degrade An Organization’.  It never seems to get old.  It’s certainly timely for the Middle East now.

Look, let me say this again as clearly as I can.  No one gets a pass in judgment.  So if you think there is a race or a people, a culture, a sex, a human orientation that should be excluded from living up to decency and order.  Stop!  America, Israel, Russia, China, countries of Europe and all over the world.  Nobody gets to do whatever they want and the world excludes this country or that country because we feel sorry about their plight.

Every people, race, color, sex and origin have had tragedies inflicted upon it.  I don’t give no one a pass because ‘all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God’.  So I expect nothing less of my leaders in America calling Israel to task for the outrageous numbers of Palestinian civilian deaths.

‘Two wrongs don’t make a right’ nor does ‘Loving only those that love you stops the madness’.  You’re leaders Israel!  Like it or not you’re the one with the most power!  Figure it out and stop this senseless cycle of killing!

ISSUE 16:  That’s Just Like a Christian Huh?

Senator Graham, said today December the 3^rd, 2023 something like ‘that all Palestinians are evil and they deserve to be punished along with the terrorist group Hamas’.  This next one is more of the same.  I heard crap like this when I was 17 years old over 40 years ago.  U.S. Representative Virginia Foxx stating ‘no one wants to work’.  There’s an even better one, Donald Trump says that since he was President of the U.S. he should be ‘immune from all wrongdoings’.

I can truly believe Donald Trump believes what he says.  So many people around him have been kissing his ass for so long he must’ve saved a fortune on ‘toilet paper’.

Now I was watching a former Israeli official speaking about the Palestinians and how they chose the worst of two options to govern them in the Gaza Strip.  It struck me because he felt justified as he relieved himself of responsibility of the decades of conflict.  These are the leaders Israel had in power?  Are you seriously saying that even though you had all the ‘power’ if the Palestinians didn’t choose the government Israel wanted then we should just continue killing each other.  Is that leadership?

From the Authorized King James version of the Holy Bible 1 Peter 2:15…For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men.  Senator Graham is a White man doing what he has always been taught.  Judging others from a perch of false piety covered and dripping with stupidity.  Defense Secretary Austin is speaking what I taught my soldiers when I was active duty United States Army.  ‘You think because you outrank people you can do whatever evil you want to them, but the truth is you will always get a fight.  Whether it is physical or mental’.

President Joe Biden is spot on with the approach he is taking.  President Biden is the leader.  Leaders don’t throw their hands in the air and say ‘to Hell with all of them’.  Americans better take a real hard look at how the President of the United States is supposed to act!  Americans, stop your callow-walling and stick with the ‘man’ you got running the show now. 

Let me stop and say this.  Americans, you’ve been on a historic ride economically.  President Biden and the Democratic Federal legislative leadership in the Congress thankfully did what they had to do in the President’s first two years.  Look at you!  This man, the President, has stood with you for higher wages, better security and safety on the job, prosperity now and decades to come and you still aren’t thankful?  Get your head out your asses and ask President Biden and the Democrats how can you help them.

What has the Republicans done to make your lives better?  Taken away your right to body autonomy.  No law to stop the killing of your children in school.  Telling you what you can and cannot read.  Complaining about border security when it’s actually their job to secure it.  Complaining about immigration while denying America the benefits and tax base this population could give the country.  Need I go on?

Do me a favor so-called Christians.  Just come out and say you’ve been playing God because you have.  Nobody with common sense believe you’ve ever spoken for God.  If you ever did I’d like to take the country back to 60’s era Birmingham, Alabama (my birthplace) to watch a little Black girl running from White supremacist with a broken leg.

Tell me something?  Where was your Christian faith?  A little Black girl running on one leg from Police Chief Bull Connor’s police force.  Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. should never had to come to you for help.  White churches should’ve been knocking the doors down on his headquarters stumbling over each other to help.  All of you!  That’s why you’re still so-called Christians to this day supporting whatever false ‘god’ is placed in front of you.

I hope the ‘orange jesus’ is the ‘god’ you’ve envisioned you would’ve always received.  Yeah, just like a Christian.
