AMERICA:  THE REROUTE

Preamble:  The Creator’s Diversity

The ones who hold the power tell the story.  The quote went something like that.  Make peace with that truth and let’s move on to how power can wreck a weak mind.  When the King eats from the same soil and drinks from the same pond how then did humankind conclude that denying these basic truths could unify us all?  How the realization of what power brings to those that possess it can influence human beings that are weak of spirit.  When their spirit is enticed to commit acts of evil when those in power that are evil hearted require it of them.  The Creator gifted his diverse creation carefully.  The care he intended has been perverted by one race intent on maintaining their power instead of sharing it as we share the land, water and the air.  America is that experiment.  May I say it has never reached its full potential because she (Motherly pronoun) has never loved all her children.

Issue 11:  Solid Progress

Everybody take a breath for a moment.  Contemplate soberly what has transpired along this ‘ARC of Reformation’ in America as things start to change for the better.  From the Authorized King James version of the Holy Bible Hebrews Chapter 9 verse 9…which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience…

Democrats I say this with all due respect.  I will list many accomplishments now.  The big one November 2022 elections were kind to us.  Wisconsin in 2023 was kind to us.  The United States Supreme Court just did the right thing for women in 2023.  All the Federal legislation such as Infrastructure, Chips and Science, parts of Build Back Better are being rolled out successfully.  Let’s help assist with those massive undertakings.  Help speed them up legally and honorably if we can.  In the meantime let’s realize we’ve made solid progress.

Look, I know we want to move on to more agenda items.  I’m the first to say I’m grinding my teeth about the possibilities, but I also know we have to solidify our gains first.  Remember progress isn’t progress if it isn’t locked in.

Now, about our Democratic Federal officials.  Leave Senator Feinstein alone.  Many valuable lessons I’ve learned in my life.  One of them is don’t rush everything.  All of you, imagine me with both my arms at shoulder level elbows at 90 degree angles my hands flapping calm down and relax.  Look at our leader President Joe Biden.  Patience isn’t something he figured out just now.  Learn something from him at the same time you’re letting those insults about his age knock your spirits down. 

Everybody has to make up their own minds about many things that so easily plague so many of us.  One thing I’ve learned from the Mental Health Industry I’m so pleased to be bringing the respect it so deserves is this.  Like life goes mental health.  No one can make another human being do anything or accept positive suggestions for a more stable life.  For the media to highlight the worst internal conflicts of failure in the human condition is troublesome for me.  Oh well, I’m faced with it daily and it hasn’t knocked 1% off my faith in humanity. 

Citizens of America the ball has always been in your court.  If you believe human beings can control every emotion or thought as you’ve read above, none of us can make ourselves perfect by our actions.  It’s a fact I’m alarmed about all the laws relaxing responsibility while elevating vigilante behaviors. 

I have to say this.  Even now at 56 years old, I would smile ear to ear just observing the beauty in this world.  I certainly wouldn’t be violent towards girls.  No I do not own a gun.  I’m retired Army.  Never saw the need for one personally. 

Oh, and by the way.  I am going to call our those ‘evangelical Christians’ that didn’t practice what they Bible thump every day to help an injured human being bleeding while ‘standing at their door and knocking’.  3 doors before probably an atheist helped him.

Oh, for everyone else that don’t believe in God or believes in whatever you call your higher power.  He sent an angel to help that boy stay alive.  What we call vengeance is like a doll house standing next to a 100 foot skyscraper.  Everybody gets what’s coming to them and I mean everybody.  Trust me.  I’ve seen it with mine own eyes!

If you ask me I would say the Republicans are doing this flooding the zone with guns, while their buddies at Fox News stoke non-existent crime in the streets.  Why do you think it didn’t work for them in the last series of elections?  Stay onto their games citizens.  Look at things through your own eyes.  If the Republicans are making America better, then vote for them.  If the Democrats are making America better, then vote for them.

Look at the progress.  How do you think you got to make the money you’re making now?  Unless I’m mistaken the Federal minimum wage is still $7.25 an hour.  Look pass the disdain on your Republican official’s faces and ask them some of the questions I told you in my last post.  I hope they don’t knock you out because I’m pretty sure they’re thinking about it.

Solid progress.  Just keep it going.

Can’t You Read The Sign?

Yes, I know.  There is a famous song out there that is quite appropriate for this digital post.  The song is called:  Signs, by The Five Man Electrical Band 1971.  Listen to it again if you haven’t heard it in a while.  If you’re not at peace before you play it you will be afterwards.  Feel free to play it as many times as you like.  Music doesn’t come therapeutically ready for the majority of us anymore.  Well, enjoy the song.

Listen citizens of America.  I’m mainly speaking to the ones that keep voting for Republican Party officials.  I want this group of voters to make a sign.  I will tell you what you should put on it in a minute, but please feel free to put the things you are strongly behind your official on it first.  Now I’m asking you to put on your sign this:

‘We’re not going to fix school shootings’.  Republican

‘Florida Governor signs 6-week abortion ban’.  Republican

‘Debt ceiling will not be increased without spending cuts’.  Republican

‘Abortion is as evil as slavery’.  Republican

‘No raising the minimum wage from $7.25 hour to $15 hour’.  Republican

‘Books I don’t think others should read will be banned’.  Republican

Make up any sign you want on an 8 ½ by 11 inch standard sheet of copy paper.  Tape it next to whichever door you exit your home for work.  Look at it every day.  If you are fine with the power you keep giving to the very people who don’t give a flying fuck about you, keep doing it.  I’ve put my soul into cleaning up a lot of the stupidity I bought growing up.  Some I learned from parents that meant well, but were misguided.  Most I had to realize on my own. I was playing the role of a tiger jumping through hoops for the amusement of the people in power.

No child will be saved by you voting for a Republican official.  Democrats I admit have always been afraid to fight back fiercely for the rights of all.  The ARC of Time will no longer straighten.  Change is inevitable.  Voter.  Ask yourself just one question? 

Who is trying to make things better for everyone?  If you answer that question honestly, then vote for whomever you want.  No more crocodile tears for what comes afterwards please.  How did one of my favorite lines from the song ‘SIGNS’ go.  ‘The Sign said, you got to have a membership card to get inside’.

It means why do you need a membership card when you’re already a member of God’s creation.  Oh well, go figure.

democracy?  Never Had It!

My own astonishment is one thing, but absorbing all the shock and profound disappointment from Democrats, Independents and like-minded citizens is curious.  My last digital article spoke about those people that have only one lot in life which is their pursuit of ‘POWER’.  First the rest of us that are witnessing the birth of a nation that truly gives to all people their value know this ‘period of time’ this arc is necessary to reach Dr. Martin Luther King’s ‘DREAM’.  ‘Content’ means… to look intellectually at what’s before you and discern it’s worth truthfully.

Achieving equality through the ‘content of character’ means ‘power’ must not be ‘hoarded’ as it is now.  My loyal readers to whom I will forever be grateful know that as a Black man I believe America‘s goal or her ‘ideals’ are obtainable.  Obtainable with the participation of everybody.  That’s why I believe America has never truly been democratic.  Hold on a minute.  Let me explain.

When fighting a war history tells us every battle will not be won.  The greater focus as it should be is to win the war.  Sure there are pockets of democracy in America, but it isn’t a sure thing to last long.  It is not enough to point to examples where full representation for a diverse community thrives.  Economic growth (more topics to be examined later) is what I’m trying to help bring about here.  I believe it is possible to have 3 hundred and fifty to 5 hundred thousand high paying jobs created every month in America.  The key is having everybody knowing their voices are heard and acted upon.

That is why those who now have the ‘power’ the Republicans are and will use every devious and demonic trick they know to hold onto it.  Now this is the part where I piss off some people.  Evangelicals or as I call them ‘EVANDEVICALS’, you all better hope God has a sense of humor.  Just because old white men told you that power belongs to you just means you will share their spiritual fate.  For God’s sake you are voting for people who don’t have a problem with children being murdered.

Read that last sentence again.  Just because you want to hold onto ‘power’ you are also saying it’s okay for children to be slaughtered.  Yeah you are!  If you believe I’m lying on you prove me wrong.  Do something right for a change.  Vote straight Democrat from dog catcher to city council to Federal representative, Senator and United States President.

White women and men voting Republicans in office have caused all our short comings.  Do you want a prosperous future for yourself and your children?  You have got to see that what President Biden and the U.S. Congress has done to pass legislation to pull our prosperity from the unseen world into reality!  Help yourself if that’s all you’re thinking about.  Just vote those people out of the way that are afraid of the change that will come sooner or later.  No matter what, change always comes.

Do you want China, Russia, Europe to lead in innovation?  Clean energy and restoration of our natural resources?  Do you want to sit back and say somebody else will do it knowing ‘that’ somebody else ‘ain’t thankin bout chu’! 

democracy?  You never had it.  It is possible though to have it one day.

Pull Over

Realize this:  Only a spiritual traveler pull off the road, stops and waits, lets whoever doesn’t choose to do what’s right off and continues on his or her way.

The evil traveler doesn’t believe anyone wants to get off because by deception evil has made things seem likely good.  Therefore evil just increases speed never minding limitation signs, if anything, evil hurries you along to your destruction.

Now I’m not in the corner of Republican politicians whether they are local, city, state or Federal.  I have to recall and say again my admiration for a major hoodwink they put on those that vote for them.  From law enforcement on down to so-called ‘evangelicals’, (what that word means isn’t borne out in behavior) the Republican mantle has pulled off some doozies.  First I got to hand it to them on guns.  They’ve actually fooled law enforcement into thinking they were their greatest champions.  That something they did was quite amusing, but only in the sense that they got completely bamboozled.

What law enforcement official at any level tasked with helping to maintain an orderly and decent society thought more access to guns was a good thing?  Or removing all legitimate requirements to owning a gun was a good thing?  Maybe law enforcement facing military grade high velocity rifles was a good thing?  None probably.

So in their zeal to support what they thought was an ally, law enforcement officials actually were partnering with evil disguised in goodly apparel harking sound speech.  I don’t think law enforcement considered their support of Republicans at that time was foolish.  What would they think now?  Republicans don’t care about anything sacred or spiritual.  Republicans only care about power.  The power to release human beings from all restraints, rules and regulations!

Republicans couldn’t spell morals, virtues or decency. Not even the word order.  No?  They can? Explain to me then why a human being notified of children being slaughtered doesn’t show any sign of alarm?  Children dying causes no heartbreak whatever.  Children to Republicans are simply cannon fodder standing in the path of their ideals about what they can do with power!

Morals, virtues and spirituality aren’t and were never in the equation.  Power corrupted is okay as long as it expands on their perverse doctrine of freedom.  States rights?  That’s just a precursor to ‘flip the script’ to say the ‘state’ is superior to Federal.

All of this sounds too yoked?  Then tell me I’m wrong that a Federal Judge is about to substitute his personal beliefs for the accepted and understood knowledge of science.  What’s next to be overridden when a buffoon says so?  How about a local idiot bringing a court case to limit the United States Navy to ‘One’ submarine?  Pull over and think about it.

We all are in the time of ‘The Courts’.  A solemn era has arisen as it always has throughout history.  From the authorized King James version of the Holy Bible 1 Corinthians 14:40…decently and in order.  The ‘First Father’ has decreed that the ‘LAW’ must prevail so that righteousness holds evil at bay.  Don’t worry I’m not naïve, I know evil is constant.  We can still hold it off until we strengthen our commitment to ‘order’. 

Judges have a book in the Holy Bible for God sake!  Judges rule on matters for higher ideals.  Judges don’t rule for hypocrites or for evil intent.  Judges must weigh the ramifications of their rulings if those rulings serve to weaken the foundations of a society that is bending towards justice! 

Judges must rule on matters that is within the law as written.  The United States Congress passed laws to establish the rules that keeps our society from bursting out into disease, chaos and vulnerability to our enemies!  When the law is wrong all of us must work to change it.  There is a government office set up for disagreement and consultation on medicine.  If a citizen wishes to dispute the purpose of a medication, he or she should petition that office and not a court of law!

Only the spiritual soul pulls over to let the contrary traveler off.  After checking for clearance back to the road, the spiritual traveler only points his or her star towards justice.  America, understand what you’re doing when you pick and choose for whom must the ‘LAW’ apply.  Doing that is to assuredly say it applies to no one.  Pull over and let that spirit of evil off.  Once you do get your ass back on the road.  Help draw out that ideal of a just society.  Pick up those travelers!
