Episode 7: My Injuries Are: Spiritually, Physically & Mentally
Prologue:
(‘Well then how can one expect to get anything done if the injuries are going to pile up on me in every which way imaginable’? Well? ‘You can always run from them’. Mother Sayer, she replays each word in her mind every time she has encountered a difficult situation or circumstance in her life. Her Father, Mr. Abelman Sayer, didn’t give her a moment to breath. Her Father rightfully thought that when you are ‘training up’ a child in the way that she should go that her refuge would come with her thoughts at the end of one day that bridges the next day.
Mr. Sayer didn’t care that his daughter would ‘dissipate’ the harshness of her lessons. He didn’t care he was ‘injuring’ every part of her being. Mr. Sayer was born in a time that he had to navigate the presence of death itself every which way he turned! Who cares if his daughter cried or asked for a reprieve. Mother Sayer remembers all too bluntly her Father’s response to her calls for ‘mercy’. ‘If you want me to stop, all you have to do is say so. I’m sure life will ‘pause’ for enough time for you to gain the strength to carry on’.
Mother Sayer remembers that day in September after she turned 16. Mother Sayer was enraged! That day ended with her Father knowing he had crossed her line. Also on that day Mother Sayer remembers seeing something that locked in her understanding of why her Father ‘trained’ her so brutally. Her Father was smiling. Mother Sayer turned her head at just the right moment and her peripheral vision caught the look on his face.
Mother Sayer knew that her Father ‘wounded’ her to activate assets that every one of us possesses. She needed no more training from that day forward. Mother Sayer knew how to renew her strength like the eagle’s! Let go of my hand Father she said to herself. She would take it from there.).

Mother Sayer: (U-her has come a long way. She done a good job supporting Sarah W. Certainty on her endeavor to assemble the beginnings of her Fashion, Cultural Garments and Entertainment Business.). U-her. Such a strong and bright morning. Would you agree?
Uoherbhai: I didn’t know you still considered natural phenomena anymore. It is pleasant to behold. If I may? I speak in thankful adherence to all things spiritually given to us. I couldn’t begin a day without paying my proper respects.
Mother Sayer: As we all should. (Mother Sayer is surprised again by U-her. I’m glad, she says to herself that there are women that still teach ‘our’ kind to be mysterious.). I have some projects I want to review with you. Just to put some things down on paper or digital. That way I can review them when I wish. We don’t want the train slowing to a crawl when a scheduled stop is not up ahead.
Uoherbhai: No Mother. We do not. Where do you want to start?
Mother Sayer: First let’s get some of the harsher projects out of the way. By harsh I mean in the sense that people who don’t understand mental health would be ‘queasy’ upon viewing them.
Uoherbhai: What did Manesh show you on your tour?
Mother Sayer: The ‘cold’ restraint system is very promising. It doesn’t apply to the torso of the body. Just to the arms and legs. We designed it so that it can be adjusted quite nicely temperature wise in response to the aggressive nature of the patient.
Uoherbhai: And this won’t injure or harm the patient severely?
Mother Sayer: Well U-her, it will come close to reducing the core temperature of the body if the patient is self-harming or harming staff.
Uoherbhai: So, it will force the patient to respond mentally to what you’re doing. Make the patient cry out to make it stop?
Mother Sayer: Yes it will. Look. The behavioral health, mental health disciplines are a dangerous field that seeks functional outcomes. Those outcomes sometimes require methods that can be seen as cruel, but these techniques are still nonlethal. May I add this. Would our society prefer that the police shoot them so we’ll all be relieved we don’t have to worry about them hurting our loved ones?
Uoherbhai: I think we should not be as cruel as a patient in distress.
Mother Sayer: Well U-her. That patient in distress can deprive a family of their Mother or Father, that works in behavioral and mental health, for the rest of their lives. Would that be an outcome that’s best for our society, or would you support nonlethal techniques to restrain and control a non-compliant patient?
Uoherbhai: Either way. I don’t think violence is the answer.
Mother Sayer: How noble. Let’s move on shall we.

(Mother Sayer and Uoherbhai engaged in a lively conversation about the realities associated with Behavioral and Mental Health. Mother Sayer expected no less from her assistant. Don’t ever back down to me Mother always drills in her people. State your position and stick to it. This next project is a sensitive one. It could hold the very key to a decade or more leap into intercontinental or even space travel.).
Mother Sayer: The ‘Loop Ball’ Project. I want this project and every development connected to it to be secured under our highest trade secrets platforms.
Uoherbhai: Now you done got my attention. That lunch was starting to weight my eyelids down a bit. What do we got?
Mother Sayer: The ARC has 3 Doctorates in Chemistry, Physics and aerodynamics that have been working on this project for 2 years now. I told them to write down everything. Record everything. I want them to have recording devices with them 24 hours a day. The old way of ‘battery’ storage is done.
Uoherbhai: What? What is it now?
Mother Sayer: Let me explain. I believe the way a battery is charged is that it is designed to charge the entire battery. What if we broke that down, process down, into smaller steps that would combine in the finished product to be even more powerful and efficient.
Uoherbhai: How?
Mother Sayer: Make sure you are recording this?
Uoherbhai: I am on audio, video and digital. The computer is transcribing it as we speak.
Mother Sayer: Well. The preliminary results are promising. See. We selected a material that is able to transmit energy, but hold it longer in place. We crafted balls. Balls of different sizes to accommodate different applications. You see. We then designed corridors for the balls to traverse to a recharging point and back the same or a different route. Listen up. This is key. We found a way to reduce energy waste during the charging process to zero.
Uoherbhai: To zero? How?
Mother Sayer: By controlling the heat that is a byproduct of the charging process. You see what I’m saying? Heat is energy as well.
Uoherbhai: You figured out how to clean and cook pig intestines. Cook them Chitlins big sister! Wow!
Mother Sayer: Okay. Don’t try so hard U-her. You didn’t grow up in the ghetto. So stop. I’m glad that you’re maintaining my standards to lighten the mood when things get serious. This is serious. It can change a lot of lives especially in a country that prizes ‘money’ over everything.
Uoherbhai: Shit you right!
Mother Sayer: U-her.
Uoherbhai: Too much?
Mother Sayer: Uh-huh.
Uoherbhai: Right. Do you want to withhold anything that would make these records vulnerable if they were somehow compromised? Like trade secrets vital to completing the process?
Mother Sayer: Yes. Now. We’re going all the way. I learned a long time ago to not be afraid of getting hurt. Spiritually, Mentally or Physically. The way to destruction is fear of losing money. Money you should know by now is not the motivation that fuels our growth. It is discovery. Making life better for more than just yourself is what I was taught.
Uoherbhai: I would say so. It has always been a fact of life that everybody can do enough to support themselves. Probably not to a level many believe they deserve, but a level of survival nonetheless.
Mother Sayer: That is true U-her, and it is also a major design aspect of the ‘Loop Ball’. America has driven many of its citizens crazy with this idea of the ‘self-made’ man. What a croc of shit!
Uoherbhai: An effective croc of persuasive shit though. I will tell you something I’ve never told anybody. Even my parents. I thought it a curse to be autistic. After meeting you life suddenly crystalized. I no longer had to work to ‘fit in’ to what people expected of me. I finally found a place where I could be myself.
Mother Sayer: No more tearing down who you are to be something you couldn’t possibly exist as huh girl?
Uoherbhai: Yes Mother. You actually mean what you say. My thoughts are no longer jumbled. I no longer feel the need to figure out what I should be to each and every body I meet.
Mother Sayer: God. That sounds exhausting?
Uoherbhai: It was. It ended when I met you and started here.
Mother Sayer: I have ‘gone’ in the way I was ‘trained’. I have never doubted my Father. I have added to my life, but I have never subtracted from my life of the lessons he ‘trained’.
Uoherbhai: It sounds like you learned to suppress your ego very early in life.
Mother Sayer: Along with several other things that are vulgar to speak of in ‘proper’ company.
Uoherbhai: (U-her laughs at her comment.). That would be wise.
Mother Sayer: Let’s finish up right there. The ‘Loop Ball’ will bring great scrutiny of The ARC. I want everybody to know that in order to not be ‘wounded’ when the world offers ‘empty’ attention after all the hard work has been done. On any and all accomplishments all my people have brought to the economy of the world.
Uoherbhai: Your reasoning is sound.
Epilogue:
(Mother Sayer and Uoherbhai finish their discussion securing all the notes in a secure container. There are always people trying to steal secrets. Industrial espionage is real as it gets. Mother Sayer reflects on her good fortune as it pertains to how she has managed to attract so many stable minded people. Yes, her Father told her your energy ‘fans’ out. You don’t see it, but we are spiritual beings and spiritual beings are not flesh and blood.
Thank you my earthly Father for choosing something greater than my Mother. Thank you for knowing all you know and wanting to give that knowledge to someone else. Mother Sayer says these things often to herself when she is alone as she meditates on what life actually means to her. All of us have our own thoughts Mother says, but believing in other human beings is greater than acquiring wealth or any material we can gather to use for our own pleasure.
No U-her Mother Sayer says. I too never conformed to what America or the world wanted me to be no matter what harm I would suffer or suffered. Be it Spiritually, Physically or Mentally.).
