Issue 12: ‘And he remembered for them his covenant’
Why somebody gotta remind you to remember what you agreed to? Why somebody gotta remind you to uphold your end of the bargain? It is always ‘The’ God that needs to keep his promises and not you right? No you don’t have to do like one of my Battalion Commanders always said when I was in the United States Army. ‘Make good choices soldier’.
Huh? Seems like a long time ago. Oh, right. It was a long time. Man I’m old. Anyway. The ARC of Time just can’t stop us from missing the curve. I’m smiling right now because it is a truth that ensnares many of us. We can’t help ourselves sometimes. Human beings are predictable when our ‘trials and tribulations’ arrive upon our doorstep. Maybe that’s why we forget things, or should I say, forget one of the many ‘pacts’ we make in life. Surely a one on one pact between Heaven and Earth can’t be forgotten so easily. Could it? I’m funny huh? Yes it can Victor? Okay.
Good thing the one true ‘God’ knows about that ‘stupid’ part of our personality. Oh, I’m sure the ‘demigod’ Donald J. Trump would never need reminding to uphold the bargain he has between himself and MAGA. He always keeps his word. Noo! Donald J. Trump, the ‘demigod’, would show mercy on his followers and do for them as he promised right? Right? I’m not getting a response MAGA. Right?! Oh, whatever.
I know I know. A covenant just like all things introduced to ‘men’, are basically optional as far as ‘men’ understand it. I mean men don’t have to adhere to the good faith and letter of the agreement right? Don’t sweat. The ‘Supreme Deity’ knows human beings tend to bend, even from a ‘slight’ breeze. Especially from a puff of wind! So all those voters in America that chose Donald J. Trump as their leader knew what he was when they pulled the level selecting him. Those voters knew who Donald J. Trump was when they heard him speak. When they saw that hideous figure of a man Donald J. Trump before them.
That’s why we’re always crying for ‘The God’ to always save our dumb asses. Shit gets old doesn’t it? Well, I won’t tell you to guess how ‘The God’ feels. Not the ‘demigod’ Donald J. Trump. ‘The God’! Oh, forget it.
The chance to redeem ourselves is coming. Vote Democrat from the Local, to the State, to the Federal and get these dam Republicans out of office!
