Oftentimes it takes contemplating how Black folks lives have been defined for us throughout all times by people who were not Black. This truth cannot be denied no more than I can change the color of my skin nor allow myself to be categorized and lessened. Therefore, I must take this journey of discovery as all my valiant and resilient ancestors have sojourned in a world where false judgments were presented as the standard of righteousness. Righteousness added to humility with the grace of God may be the answer.
VOLUME 15: ‘Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him’.
When did we reject a young and new crop of people bursting with new ideas? When did America reject them outright? Not even giving people bearing new ideas the respect of a hearing? The New York United States Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio Cortez introduced the ‘Green New Deal’. How many of her ideas have been discussed, tried and tested, or found to be viable enough to pursue?
I have presented the National Democratic Party with a slew of ideas: A national/interstate water reclamation system designed to provide free water to States and localities through redirection of flood waters, snow melts, and incidental water events. A national material recycling system that goes into a State fund that redistributes the collected revenue quarterly as a refund to every resident of each State. A Federal, State and local law that states that all products made with scarce metals and materials need to be constructed in a way that those metals and materials can be extracted from a discharged or spent product just as easily. Phones, machines, tablets, computers, any and all precious materials reclaimed easily.
A Federal, State and local law that gives a reduction in tax liability to everybody and anybody that volunteers at a food bank, hospital, school, daycare or steps in to fill a need or void in service for the sake of humanity. Helping out the elderly with services. All of this giving must be officially recorded to qualify and deducted immediately from their tax liability.
Produce grown in farms or cooperatives. The abundance that can be shared so nothing goes to waste. Volunteers officially recognized so that credit can be given. No more tax breaks to the wealthy. They don’t need it. Our tax system should be designed to reward people that do something to help those less fortunate.
Do you know what the ole phrase means? In the subject line of this digital post that is? It means that when you have an abundance, ‘You rejoice because you now not only have enough for your family, but you have been blessed to be a blessing to others’. That’s what it means. You plant the seeds. The seeds grow to ‘produce’ a harvest. When the harvest has come. You rejoice because now you have enough for yourself and others!
It is always at our deepest despair that we can’t turn our backs on each other. The ‘First Father’ has seen fit to bless me with wisdom and knowledge. What he gives me I promised to pass it on in a nanosecond. I will not ever risk a whipping from ‘First Father’ doing otherwise.
Democrats. Do with the ideas what you will. My task is ongoing. As First Father passes ideas to me; I will pass them on. I’m not worried about the Republicans stealing my ideas or implementing them. The Republicans only care for the rich. I’ve ‘PICKED’ a side!
Look. With the availability of more water comes more commerce. What’s the saying? ‘Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life’.
What follows ‘water’ is more ‘life’. Oh Lord. Somebody help me.
