Mother Se’May Sayer: The ARC of Time
Season 3: Episode 1: The Crushing Presence of a Black Hole
Part One: The Danger is Almost Undetectable for the Unwise
Prologue:
(Weakness? Why do we misapply weakness? Human beings cannot help themselves sometimes as they try to explain why injustice occurs. For instance, injustice is the strong applying their kind (after his kind-Genesis 1:11) of justice to those that cannot defend themselves properly. By properly I mean with adequate defense council when the strong accuses the ‘weak’ of a wrong committed against their rules.
Mother Sayer has long vexed her mind on where weakness if it at all applies to what facet of her life. The discovery came to her at a most appropriate time as she experienced great success in her business. She was using the wrong word all along. Being ‘MEEK’ is more in tune with her spiritual walk than spreading a misunderstanding of weakness to the women and men she has empowered in her life.
To be ‘meek’ is to be in the ancient definition of the word ‘compassionate’. Being ‘meek’ is being ‘supportive’ of those you care about. Those that expect you to ‘live’ the right example as much as you express it. Being ‘reverent’ to a spiritual father and to his creation.
Mother knows that ‘weakness’ is assigned to a less powerful adversary under threat from an unjust ruler seeking their submission. Whereas ‘weakness’ isn’t an unfortunate standing or place to be as those of us that mock it. Weakness is the opportunity to realize a foe may possess more than enough ability to make you submit. As such, what a wise and perceptive person would do is to look at ways to help the doubtful counter the things that are erroneously conceded as weakness with skills, a change in circumstances or seek allies.
Mother is thankful that Mr. Ableman Sayer married her mother after he got to meet her children. The proper application of every human condition as well as the spectrum of emotions is crucial to navigate the complexities of life. That is why she reaps what she sows in her business.).
Mother Sayer: (The work is meaningful. Sometimes a situation arises that needs her attention. It doesn’t happen that often that she has to sever ties with an associate. It is important that she treats everyone with respect and that means hearing both sides of the story.). Who am I in conference with today Sarah?
Sarah W. Certainty: This one young lady that is having a difficult time with her Team Manager. The manager’s name is Bridarey Mustavioon. The associate’s name is Hailovay Briengitty. Bridarey is pronounced ‘Bri’dare’ree’ ‘Must’tave’ve’on’. Hailovay is pronounced ‘High’low’vay’ ‘Bring’It’tee’.
Mother Sayer: I’m listening.
Sarah W. Certainty: The dispute from what I could gather is that Ms. Hailovay is super energetic and full of suggestions, but her supervisor shoots all her ideas down.
Mother Sayer: Keep going.
Sarah W. Certainty: It seems that Mrs. Bridarey is threatened by her. That is the picture I’m getting from the other team members. They want to run with the high energy Ms. Hailovay is throwing off all around them, but making the flame of the ‘forge’ larger seems to turn up the heat on Ms. Mustavioon’s leadership.
Mother Sayer: Forgive my little pause to process my thoughts Sarah. I’m discarding a common ‘energy’ dampener that lingers around my head from time to time. (Mother sees Sarah’s normal inquiry look and she explains). It’s the ‘Black Hole’ effect I call it. I’m still assuming that executive leadership in every highly successful business warns all their leadership staff to actively avoid.
Sarah W. Certainty: What exactly?
Mother Sayer: I tell you what. We’ll visit six of the large projects we’re hoping for significant outcomes. You’re good at a lot of the skills that foretell human motivations. Listening without your ears. Seeing without your eyes. When we finish our rounds today though, you’ll know what exactly I mean by ‘higher perceptions’ for yourself.
——————————1st Interlude——————————
(‘My thoughts are higher than your thoughts, and my ways are higher than your ways’. Mother has consistently stayed on this path she believes has elevated her. The ‘First Father’ does things no one else does. The ‘First Father’ thinks spiritually. Does that fact make his consideration on what and how to act incomprehensible to his creation?
This is how she has trained herself for years now. Lose the ‘cliches’ and bring humanity back to its’ natural creative state. Talking like someone that has learned all the right words to say so the ‘Dear Leader’ doesn’t feed them to the pigs defines the word ‘stupid’. I’d rather the pigs fight over all the white and dark pieces of my meat Mother thinks.
Mother forcefully repeats this challenge to herself. ‘Keep ahold of that line. The one you just snagged has creativity on the other end. Pull with all your might lady!’ I don’t want the ‘chief seats’ in the synagogue. I want what I can bring forth. That is my higher thought.).
Mother Sayer: (Mother has the six files on her desk and as she ruffles through them to verify these are what she asked Sarah to bring her. She is satisfied her orders were carried out and loads the files in her shoulder tote.). Sarah, think of what we’re about to do as what the Army would call ‘a check on learning’.
Sarah W. Certainty: Alright, just to review the list and our first stop. I have here the SAFE ROAD Project is an attempt to rework the way mental health disorders and substance use disorders are treated. The MODEL Project has as its’ stated goal the complete recruitment, development and advising of the potential leaders of America.
The FIRST BORN Project software has a first version ready for testing. I’m aware that you see some religious angle for this product. Curiosity doesn’t engulf all of the questions I’m eager to get answered. The PLAYBOY Project addressed the immediate need to locate a downed aircraft anywhere in the world.
The BAD Project, short for Business Acumen Development, looks for those thinkers with a focused discipline coupled with adaptive views able to bring forth the abstract in viable projects to a workable industry. Wasn’t the first leader of this project demoted? Okay. The last project on the list is the one you put the most energy behind I heard.
The N’TIME Project, short for Notification and Timely Intercept in Mighty Human Events. Mother was and is highly hands on with this project. All that has been allowed to alter the safety and security of citizens going about their daily lives has struck her deeply. This software integrated with every city asset from police to fire and rescue is long outdated. This is changing right now she forcefully whispers to herself.
Oh, and hopefully the private and public sector will get on board with the potential this product has to make all Americans safer here and abroad.
Mother Sayer: (Mother was just lost in admiring her daughter, her Sarah, as she meticulously laid out the finer points of each project.). Wonderful Sarah, let’s go. We’ve got a lot of ground to cover today and some of it has landmines scattered beneath it.
Sarah W. Certainty: Show right you are.
Mother Sayer: Are you mocking me?
Sarah W. Certainty: I sure am.
Mother Sayer: (Sarah’s answer brings a smile to her face.). Good. We’re on the same page then. Let’s hit the N’TIME Project first. This one I’m telling you I’m expecting to be impressed by all my senses as I walk through their doors.
Sarah W. Certainty: The N’TIME Project? The one where Bridarey and Hailovay are in clashing? You’re going right to the project with all the issues first? Those two are formidable points on each end of a very ‘taut’ rope.
Mother Sayer: Good. I love it when there is no give on either side of a life and death issue.
Sarah W. Certainty: Meaning that both sides have valid points, but one side may be unduly stifling ideas and confidence.
Mother Sayer: That cannot be tolerated ever at my company. Even in the Army we have safeguards in place when leadership gives unlawful orders. Besides that, I don’t remember making anybody a ruler over a sector of my ‘kingdom’.
————————-2nd Interlude————————
(The N’TIME Project was moved out of the Sacramento, California office when it reached the prototype stage. The testing will now be done at the home office of The ARC, Incorporated in Louisville, Kentucky. An internal memo was issued to all locations and personnel. It was an exciting time for the creators of the software. Now they were expected to bring ‘it home’ and score under the direct gaze of Mother Sayer.).
Mother Sayer: (The N’TIME Project was rehomed on the 3rd floor of the building. Mother and Sarah were heading to that floor right now.). Now let’s see what they have for us Sarah.
Bridarey: Hello Mother. If you’ll come this way I have a mock up ready to show you how the N’TIME will be a huge upgrade in public and private safety for hundreds of millions of people worldwide.
Mother Sayer: Alright. Lead the way.
Sarah W. Certainty: Did you hear how she spoke about her importance to the project? (Sarah says as she leans to whisper in Mother’s ear.).
Mother Sayer: (Mother gives Sarah a side glance and utters with her nasal passages a single word.). Uh-huh.
(The set up is cluttered with easily recognized haste as if this team wasn’t ready. Mother adds another observation of heaviness and negative conflict all too freely floating about in this room. Mother compiles this information but she holds her conclusion until she gets an explanation on why that is the case.).
Bridarey: Hailovay, begin the presentation and highlight all the features that I want Mother to know about now.
Hailovay: Let me start your presentation of the N’TIME Project. Where the police, fire fighters, and government official are more important to the purpose of the program. N’TIME uses cameras mounted on traffic lights, street signs and directional markers to track movement of negative activity. This as you say Mrs. Mustavioon is the best way for first responders and government official to know what’s going on and where it’s located.
Mother Sayer: There seems to be large areas that will go uncovered in that scenario wouldn’t it? What about office buildings? Don’t they have a chance to better secure their facilities with surveillance equipment on their property?
Bridarey: Let me stop you there Mother. I don’t know if there is time or the will for us to lobby companies to put up cameras to spy on their customers and employees. These companies probably wouldn’t go for that anyway.
Mother Sayer: Is that your assessment as well Hailovay? (Mother sees Bridarey with a stern look of disbelief on her face that Hailovay is not supportive or following the instructions Bridarey was very clear she should follow.).
Hailovay: I’m just presenting the information team leader Mrs. Mustavioon said I should and nothing more.
Bridarey: You’re certainly presenting the project details in a fashion that indicates this product was rushed to market on the cheap. So, no you’re not presenting it in a way that makes me look good to the boss.
Mother Sayer: Hailovay tell me specifically, what parts of this project that you believe could be better?
Hailovay: Besides all the ideas and logical scene projection formatting the illustrious team leader shot down as too broad? Well, let me start with sensor scrips designed to look like entry way welcome mats that record dynamic traffic. The kind of foot traffic you would get when people are rushing from a violent event.
Bridarey: I shot that down because…
Mother Sayer: You may continue Hailovay. (Mother says with the voice inflection of an Army Major.).
Hailovay: How come first responders when answering a call at a high rise, school, or a line of shitters has to ask fleeing, screaming human beings where is the aggressor?
Sarah W. Certainty: Why? (Sarah is eating this display of human disagreement greedily. Sarah also feels the energy cascading across this room going from negative to positive just like she said when she briefed Mother.).
Hailovay: No one ever gamed out or concluded the ‘time’ factor being crucial to life. Moving on to the public address system. Are we serious with that? Do we still ride horses to work or what? Do we still tap on a live wire to communicate across town? The world? Morse freaking code is still cutting edge technology?
Sarah W. Certainty: This system will tie in every advancement in technology to save ‘time’ and by purpose save lives? (Sarah takes over for Mother and speaks on her behalf as a right hand should).
Bridarey: Do I need to point out that all the team members agreed with me that her ideas were too radical.
Sarah W. Certainty: Do I need to point out that plans and management has an opening I hear. By clearly admitting you’re a ‘BLACK HOLE’ that all energy can’t escape from. I’m hearing you say we should drop some anti-matter down your throat to collapse the weight and darkness of your presence for this team.
Bridarey: Mother, I was working this project by the parameters you set for me. Sending liaisons to other companies to gather data on how to connect a network of surveillance equipment would’ve cost extensive ‘time’ and money. I decided against it.
Mother Sayer: We have a system in the Army that has worked for hundreds of years. That system allows ‘professional’, vigorous and most of the time strong disagreement of what the leader may want. A wise major told me once on an assignment we had together. He said, “Professionals should be able to have professional conversations”. It seems you’re not there yet.
Bridarey: That’s not how I learned about leadership.
Mother Sayer: Those of us that know better should help those lacking in certain abilities. I can share with you what I’ve learned about leadership and many more things that concern human beings. Are you willing to learn is a question you should ponder?
Sarah W. Certainty: Hailovay. Bring every idea to bear for the project to the floor for discussions. This is now your team.
Mother Sayer: Bridarey: It’s Wednesday, take the rest of the day off. See me in my office on Friday to discuss next steps to walk on your path here at the ARC.
Sarah W. Certainty: (Sarah summons Hailovay over to sum up what just happened even if she has somehow managed to piece Mother’s reasoning together.). Hailovay there is strong conviction running roughshod through your mind and body. We can help keep your energy stores full, but to do that you have to comply with one request of ours.
Hailovay: Tell me what I must do.
Sarah W. Certainty: Be a sister. It is a tall order. The enlightenment is worth it if you be to us a sister as we will be to you a sister.
Hailovay: I want to be a sister.
Mother Sayer: Listen to me now. A machine can spit out a desired result if you feed it the information to search for and produce a solution. It would be asinine for me to not test the things about you that are written on paper. The ‘report’ that occupies a file in my records matches what I’ve now seen in person. Should that be all I should expect from you?
Hailovay: Meaning what exactly? You have my achievements according to established testing and licensing criteria. What more proof of my mental abilities do you need?
Mother Sayer: I want to know what mark are you going to carve into the annals of the ARC, Incorporated?
Hailovay: I will do the best job I can Mother.
Mother Sayer: Think back to what just happened Hailovay. Why do you think we replaced the lead for your team?
Hailovay: I suspect you did it because Mrs. Mustavioon wasn’t allowing the members of her team to dynamically input suggestions to make N’TIME the best product we can make it.
Mother Sayer: That’s correct Hailovay, but the reason we swapped out the two of you is this. We didn’t come in here blind. We knew what was happened on this project. How stymied every member of this team felt. Only we had to see it for ourselves before we made moves to stop the destructive consumption of energy in this room.
I’m sure you’ve had some Science courses you’ve passed with remarkable ease. One phenomenon I’ll say applies to what we’ve seen here today. The interactions and energy in this room I’d say was similar to the effects of a Black Hole.
Hailovay: Ah, yes. I see where you’re going with this. A Black Hole crushes light. Once something comes close there is no way it can escape its’ gravity. It sucks in energy. Ah, I see now.
Mother Sayer: That my dear is a failing of colonial style corporate America. My people didn’t write those rules, so guess what? I don’t follow rules I didn’t have a hand in creating.
Hailovay: I heard you don’t treat your people like knives being sharp we know are useful, until their edges become dull.
Mother Sayer: I sure don’t. Anybody can work anywhere and do a ‘job’ for years and be praised for it. What is the record of their life beyond that? Who did they help up to become what they imagined they’d become? Who inspires others?
We’re not seeds planted in the ground seeking their own parcel, water, and sunlight? We should be thinking higher than that. When I led my team on a ‘clip’ in Iraq; I had to consider everybody and everything. The mission and my soldiers were my responsibility. True leadership accepts all things. The successes and the failures without a ‘shadow’ of doubt.
Hailovay: I am only successful if my team is successful?
Mother Sayer: That’s right. The growth, development, job satisfaction are all elements that freely flow through the ‘space’ of this room. If I had to describe to you what I’ve always wanted to become, I’d say I inspire to be a planet with many moons circling it. You know every moon has its’ own orbit and they never collide with each other.
Hailovay: Yeah, I can be successful and root for my team as well.
Mother Sayer: That’s right. The planet must rotate and fly through space, but the moons also rotate and fly through space staying right on the planets’ ass.
Hailovay: (Hailovay laughs at this description and Mother knows she has understood her.). Yes Mother I’ll keep them around my ass.
————————3rd Interlude———————–
(That was an intense finding and a fortunate discovery. Mother can believe her hiring process is defined, but it is more satisfying when an awesome hire lays it all out on the line unafraid of the corporate consequences. If you got the goods Mother always says bring it! Once you’re a
member of The ARC, Incorporated only Mother can part ways with you.
This is what she has dreamed about. Oh how she hated some comrades in the Army throwing their weight around. ‘Rank is not a shield against failure no more than it is a shield guaranteeing success’. Mother despised leaders in title only. A mentor by definition means sharing what you know with a willing mind. These are some of the tenets that have served Mother well.).
Mother Sayer: Sarah, I love how our thoughts are aligned.
Sarah W. Certainty: I noticed you didn’t tell Hailovay to watch herself when it comes to her team coming to her with advice and proposals. What’s that about?
Mother Sayer: Sarah my daughter. Parents can’t possibly know it all thus we can’t share it all. Everybody has a mandate to seek and find what they shall then know. Otherwise how will they weave wisdom and knowledge into their lives if they only hear it from others.
Sarah W. Certainty: You show right.
Mother Sayer: Stop it. (Mother draws these two words out.). Sarah, even though Hailovay is the planet; a moon is still a celestial body. By the way, moons have no effect on their planets do they?
Sarah W. Certainty: Our moon affects weather patterns. Ahh, I see what you did there. Another lesson lost on these folks. How many so-called leaders can we reasonably train that come to us?
Mother Sayer: (Mother smiles.). That’s the energy question Sarah. We have to find them first and see if they fit. After that is when the fun starts, or not. A great many calculations lead to determinations which conclude with dedication. Who will dedicate themselves to doing it the right way?
Sarah W. Certainty: Power can only be contained within a ‘construct’ that is capable of holding it. Only then can it be directed to accomplish purposeful and glorious matters.
Mother Sayer: We know from examples that power has a will of its’ own which the untrained eye cannot see. Black people have a saying, ‘Pressure bust a pipe’. When we see power explode or implode we know the ‘construct’ used to hold it was inadequate. If the ‘construct’ couldn’t hold it, it certainly couldn’t wield it.
Sarah W. Certainty: I’m glad I don’t work for a colonial descendent. My training would be all about ‘climbing’ the corporate ladder, or scheming among other low level employees driving blades into each other backs knowing it is all for the amusement of company executives. Executives who will never truly let us through the door.
Mother Sayer: What usually happens after ‘employees’ waste all that energy for a ‘job’ they will never excel doing, or be heard if they have ‘creative’ ideas to help that very company the ‘big wigs’ are actually running out of business.
Sarah W. Certainty: Because they already ‘made’ it in their estimation, so they don’t need to offer anything else. They already achieved their goal.
Mother Sayer: Yes. I’m looking for ‘creators’. Those innovators that come through the doors of my business so one day I will be in business with them. Corporate America? Only thing that comes from the CEO’s what I can tell is how to manage an orderly transition of going out of business.
Sarah W. Certainty: You’re right. Corporate America, it’s spotty when viewed without prime or preference. Apple, Google, and the computer chips industry innovate constantly. Everybody else just ‘rest up’ because they think success was an exhausting achievement.
Mother Sayer: It’s a simple concept Sarah. When something expands it more than likely extends out from the ‘middle’. Everything starts at the bottom that’s a given, but a company, a ‘human being’, an economy expands from the midsection first.
Sarah W. Certainty: I sure hope to God their head doesn’t expand. That’s funny. A ‘human being’. The reasoning is sound. Hopefully those are the result more than not here at the ARC.
Mother Sayer: Where to next?
————————-4th Interlude——————————–
(Mother and Sarah make their way over to the BAD Project. The Business Acumen and Direction Project is really out of the planning stage. Upper body wear is currently being finalized. Mother makes a mental note that O’Woh said that ‘all ideas are retained and categorized’, but there still needs to be a phased approach to bringing them to the marketplace. I see some of his advice is being heeded.
Joppa, the team leader, must’ve learned somethings about human interactions that Sarah and I left out of the conversation. Point is, a leader has to remain dispassionate when perceived disagreements test their egos. Mother couldn’t tell you how many leaders lost the admiration of their followers with one single negative outburst.
Any ‘who’ Mother thinks, Tuaole Rilyzah is still a fine ‘arranger’ or guide or whatever she likes to be called I’ll respect the hell out of her. She holds it down and that’s her strength on display as she leads us to the doors of BAD.).
Mother Sayer: Joppa, greeting. Tell me how are you and the team is fairing today? I trust all is well.
Joppa: Hello Mother. Yes of course. I’m fine as well as the team. We just finished our individual ways of bringing ‘all that is good’ to our day.
Mother Sayer: Oh, that is wonderful. It is good to center or appreciate life thus to usher in all its’ blessings. How did you pronounce it? ‘Barakah’?
Joppa: Barakah. You bring good omens which I welcome will enhance and enrich all our lives. It means ‘divine blessing’ if I could simply share the purpose and practice portends to shower our decisions with continuity and spiritual guidance.
Mother Sayer: (Mother smiles a relational smile. A code clarifies and directs energies which if consistent brings results. Good or bad truthfully.). Then may I hope that we can be covered by the grace you and your team call for every day.
Joppa: (Joppa makes the gesture of his heart is good to see and be in Mother’s presence.). I do have updates to provide. The BAD Project has taken to market a limited number of designed shirts that carry messages. Some say, ‘Speak Truth and Live’, ‘Till Your Land’ with a picture of a brain, ‘Only One You Even If You’re a Twin’.
Mother Sayer: For what ultimate purpose?
Joppa: The messages are meant to highlight self-care. O’Woh is a formidable presence and he has shared with the team how he has strengthened and protected his mind throughout many crabby situations he has encountered.
Mother Sayer: It seems you’ve solved the marketing and product placement snag. Are you using all platforms at your disposal? Like social media, internet website, or radio, outdoor marketing, those avenues to get the word out?
Joppa: The team right now are monitoring all the data on sales and popularity on the various platforms we have a presence. They’re pretty excited to be part of this.
Mother Sayer: Speaking to that. What’s O’Woh’s role in all this? Is he an honest broker or just a guy biding his time to sabotage the whole thing?
O’Woh: I’ll answer for myself. Right now I’m an honest broker until I’m not. Maybe your Audie Murphy speech convinced me to fall in line.
Mother Sayer: So, your fear of new experiences wasn’t all controlling after all. I can work with that. My next question is a loaded one. Is there a setup anywhere else that you can take a good chunk of the profits? Will some company run by somebody that don’t look like me make sure you get your fair share?
O’Woh: No.
Mother Sayer: Look, you’re still assistant leader. That means this project succeeds or fails with what you bring to the table. Show me more. What else you got?
O’Woh: I normally wouldn’t listen to nobody especially a woman. Color is irrelevant. What convinced me is my eyes out of my 5 senses. ‘You’ for real. That’s what got me wearing cement shoes.
Mother Sayer: What? Cement shoes?
O’Woh: Like the mafia you managed to get my loyalty. My cement shoes are at the bottom of your ocean and I’m fine with that, for a change.
Mother Sayer: How many moments like this you’ve had in your life O’Woh? (She sees O’Woh slowing a bit, but reassuringly he recovers quickly to her point and stop her before she finishes her scrutiny.). Who got to you and…
O’Woh: There were 3 influences before you. My father, who was a man seeking reverence from his wife and kids he didn’t deserve. I, processed that period of time later as an adult. There were some common criminals that could persuade people to do things for them. Lastly, there was a supervisor of mine in high end car sales that usurped all the credit for the performance of his sales team.
Mother Sayer: Making a long story short these experiences made you into what kind of man?
O’Woh: It made me clarify what I wanted which is not to depend on others providing it for me.
Mother Sayer: Are you certain you have what it takes to make that promise to yourself happen?
O’Woh: Not that I need to verify or seek justification for my attitude and confidence, that being said I dam sure know how to achieve my goal. The only thing missing until now was where it was possible to achieve it.
Mother Sayer: The ARC, Incorporated. Now that I know that about you; I’m inclined to give you lead on a project in the future when one comes available. I’ll determine if it’s a good fit rest assured.
O’Woh: Thank you, Mother.
Mother Sayer: You’re welcome. Oh, good work.
Epilogue:
(Mother discusses with Sarah the dialogue that went unsaid. What’s that scripture about Jesus standing at the door and knocking she thinks. Sarah focuses on the literal nature of the verse when Mother gives her the highlights. This is where most people miss the meaning she says. Jesus wasn’t talking about a literal door; he was asking for a person to open their heart, soul and mind so he could commune with them.
That’s what Revelation 3:20 means. ‘I will come in to him’ means the ‘way’ or path to true enlightenment is allowing yourself to be ‘schooled’ by God the trinity. God wasn’t talking about doors to structures. There is only one door that matters to him. The ‘single’ door to an individual’s soul.
‘Do you understand that’, she asks Sarah? Sarah acknowledges and responds with a verse she’s studied and committed to memory. ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life’, she says confidently. ‘Nobody comes to the Father, but by the Son’. Yeah, I know. Everybody thinks that governments need to gain full acceptance by all its’ citizens. No you don’t. That’s why it’s majority rule that ‘rules’ the day.
The days’ meetings with N’TIME and BAD were most pleasing. Mother and Sarah are satisfied with the progress both teams are making. Although they’re confident business will thrive for many years, they’re more confident in the growth of their people. They both agree their focus on their people makes success feel so good.
Also finding those people at the ARC that suck all the energy out of the room and counseling them is necessary. If they can’t see their energy is a downer to the energy all around the room, we will remove them. ‘Black Holes’ will not crush the ARC. Mother promises that!)…
